Sabah had her independence from British North Borneo Chartered Company (the governing authority over sabah) on September 16, 1963. The formation of Malaysia involved Malaya, Sarawak , Sabah and Singapore (however later on Singapore decided to break away from Malaysia during the early years of Malaysia).

Malaysia consist of 14 states (including Sabah and Sarawak).In September 16,1963, Sabah's Merdeka Padang became historically special because on that day Sabah gave up her sovereignity to join with the Federated states of Malaya, Singapore and Sarawak to form a new nation.

That day Malaysia was born. However, Singapore left Malaysia to form a new nation on Aug 9,1965. We want to declare God's Lordship over Kota Kinabalu, sabah, and Malaysia. We declare that God's destiny for Malaysia will be fullfilled. When Malaysia was formed God has meant for her to be a blessing nation to the region of Asia.
